Ages 4-7 (more age groups to come) March 27th, April 17th and May 15th (more dates to come too!) 9:00am-10:30am - call or email us to sign up to the waitlist Price starting at $50 - or buy a pricing plan for 3 sessions at $120 Conducted by Occupational and Speech Therapists Targeting Individual Goals in a Group Setting Maximum of 6 Children to 2 Therapists Learn How to Participate in a Social Setting Benefits of Gardening with Children Gardening is not only fun and educational, but did you know it also has several sensory benefits as well? Children learn about the world around them using their senses. Encourages Proprioceptive Sensory Input Using “Heavy Work”, carrying bags of soil, digging holes, moving dirt, etc. Encourages Tactile Input Sorting seeds, feeling plant textures, squeezing/sifting dirt, harvesting, etc. Encourages Fine Motor Skill Development sorting and planting seeds, writing in the dirt with fingers, picking weeds/plants, etc.
